The public schools are not so good where I am going.Whats ur opinion about private schools?Their data is not public so how can we be sure of their standards?Is it worth the money?
For newbies-check out greatschools.net if you are looking for new schools.In USA your child's school is decided by the home address(if public).

you could pay a visit to private schools near ur home..
or if public school/s look those schools w/ BLUERIBBON acknowledgement..they are excellent if not very good school..

Thanks for the tip.One of them does have blue ribbon ack.The other does not..I will ask them about it.

My daughter will attend school once i move to AL. Fortunately there are great public schools in the district where we'll be relocating.
I guess the best thing to try would be to ask your co-residents or seniors about the private schools in your area. That's what I would do.
