I don't think it is hard to find a job in primary care or as a hospitalist, there are openings anywhere. I finished residency this year, went to 3 interviews for a hospitalist position and got a job offer in Southern California. My colleagues had similar experiences in job hunting in Northern California.
Regards!

Thanks a lot for sharing the info Dr.
I am doing residency in Ohio and I did't apply to California because I knew I had to apply for extra stuff, like license.
Could you please tell me what to do or where to find the info to apply for license in california.
Thanks a lot.

agree, not hard really. There are many openings everywhere for internists (PCP or hospitalist)
